Michelle Stephen

Michelle is a registered psychologist based in Melbourne with over 17  years of experience working across diverse clinical and community settings. Her work is grounded in empathy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to helping individuals access the supports they need to live meaningful and independent lives.

Michelle specialise’s in psychological, cognitive and diagnostic assessments, with particular expertise in Functional Capacity Evaluations for NDIS participants and autism spectrum disorder assessments. She has worked extensively with children and adults presenting with complex mental health conditions, neurodevelopmental diagnoses (such as autism and intellectual disability), and cognitive impairments. Her approach is client-centred and trauma-informed, with a focus on understanding each person’s unique strengths, challenges, and daily functioning.

Michelle is passionate about writing reports that are clear, evidence-based, and genuinely useful, supporting families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals to navigate the NDIS and advocate for appropriate, sustainable supports.

Assessments can be conducted in clients’ homes across Melbourne, with flexibility to accommodate individual needs.
