Cognitive (IQ) Assessments

Assessment of Intellectual Functioning

We provide formal cognitive assessments for both children and adults to gain a deeper understanding of intellectual functioning, learning needs, and cognitive strengths and weaknesses. These assessments are used for diagnostic clarification, educational planning, and to support NDIS access or plan reviews.

Each assessment includes:

  • A clinical interview to gather relevant background, developmental, and educational history

  • Administration of standardised tools:
    WISC-V for children and adolescents
    WAIS-IV for adult

  • Vineland Adaptive Functioning psychometric testing

  • Assessment of core cognitive domains such as verbal comprehension, working memory, processing speed, visual-spatial reasoning, and fluid reasoning

  • Optional use of adaptive behaviour measures to assist in identifying intellectual disability or other neurodevelopmental diagnoses

  • A comprehensive, plain-language report with scores, interpretation, and practical recommendations

Cognitive assessments may also be combined with a functional assessment when required for NDIS planning, providing a robust profile of an individual’s support needs and daily functioning..

Build it.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
